It's a Giveaway!!!

I am really excited to be joining in on the Beat the Winter Blues Quilter's Blog Hop Party! I am fairly new to the quilting blog-o-sphere. To be honest, almost nobody reads my blog. I don't mind that much, I don't have much to say that is of any significance anyway. I blog for fun.

Blog Hop Party with Give-AwaysThat being said, I wouldn't mind a few more visitors. I love connecting with other bloggers and I have made some great blogger friends since I began my blogging journey in 2007.

This week, I accomplished a few goals and hit a milestone. One of my long-time goals was to open my own etsy shop and I did it! I opened up my little shop. It is called Loreto Gift Shop. I sell rosaries and some quilted rosary cases and candle/statue mats. The milestone that I hit this week was the 500th blog post. So let us celebrate.

To beat the winter blues, I am offering two prizes. The first prize is a doll sized Beatrix Potter quilt. We love Beatrix Potter and her books. Recently we spent some time reading Beatrix Potter's Letters. Did you know that most of her books were actually stories that she included in her letters to her little friends?
This little quilt is 24" x 24" and is machine pieced and machine quilted. (click on the picture to see a larger image) The binding is actually pieced using different purple fabrics. It is made with 100% quilting cotton highlighting the Beatrix Potter fabric from Quilting Treasures. The batting is Hobbs Heirloom Premium Cotton Batting.

The second prize is a dolly dress for an American Girl Doll. I will most likely be using this Liberty Jane Pattern that my daughter and I have in our collection of doll patterns. I haven't made it yet, but I promise you it will be great. I have used Liberty Jane patterns before to make doll clothes and the clothes always turn out super cute. I am waiting for my serger to arrive (happy dance) and want to make it look really professional. I will post pictures as soon as it is finished.

To enter and win EITHER the Dolly Quilt or a cute American Girl dress made by me, do the following. Remember, you can increase your chances of winning by participating in all or some of the ways listed below. This is my first time using rafflecopter and I am excited that it will do all of the work for me.

Once you have entered my giveaway, you should take a jaunt over to the Quilting Gallery to the Blog Hop Party. I believe there are around 200 blogs participating in this blog hop party. You can participate in lots of great giveaways and win some great prizes. I will be taking a look and participating, too.

The Winners will be chosen on March 22nd.

Good Luck and God Bless.

Winners are Nancy Sue (doll quilt) and Sandra (doll dress).

I think I will keep the items here in my home for my little visitors. My hall closet has a toy box in it and they all go right for it to see the old favorites and what I have added since they were here last. Too much fun!
