The Holy Name of Jesus

January is dedicated to the Holy Name of Jesus. These pictures are from Walzing Matilda. She has created two different coloring pages for the Feast of the Holy Name (January 3).

  1. Hi, I was just taking some time to broswe the net for fellow homeschooling moms who blog... and yours took my interest.I would like to take more time to get to know you better when I get a chance to read a bit more of your blog.I notice (obivously, lol) that you are a Catholic family who loves Jesus! I love Jesus too, but am not Catholic, but follow more of a Baptist's tradtion of worship the same Lord :O).... (I really don't like to put a lable on what denomination I am anymore, other than that I am just a "Christ follower.)I'm intersted because, before my parents divorced I was being raised Catholic ~ I can remember being taught the "The Lord's prayer and the Hail May," before they separated. When my mom soon remarried, her husband was a protestant ~ Baptist. I was about 8 years old at the time.So I grew up learning the ways of the Baptisit's. I still follow the doctrines of the protestant faith, but believe that Catholics and Baptists serve and trust and believe in the same Lord, the Creator of all :O)When I visit my family on my dad's side, I do not hesitate to attend Catholic mass with them, I enjoy to go! I love Father Gavin @ their church! There are things I don't quite understand between the two faiths, and things that I question, but differences aside.... there's no arguement, only love!My family is currently 'Home Churching'. I'd love for you to visit my blog blog sometime!! I have two blogs- one for homeschooling, and one personal... they both link so you'd have no trouble checking out both. Thanks for sharing your heart and your beliefs, and I look forward to coming back!! and hope to see you :O)many blessings, In Him, Deanna
