Noah has taken a keen interest in reading am memorizing poetry. He read the poem "A Winter Night" by Sara Teasdale and illustrated it. It inspired him to write his own poem titled "A Winter Day". He began composing it during our walk yesterday morning during which he claimed that winter was boring. The trees look naked and there is nothing to see. We saw a magpie atop a high spruce tree. He looked like an ornament that you would put on top of the Christmas tree. That was the only excitement that we had on our walk. I told Noah that he should write about winter and see that it isn't so boring. That is just what he did. At home he wrote his poem. Enjoy.
